Miss Universe Tacloban 2024 will be crowned at the Tacloban City Convention Center in Tacloban, Philippines on January 31, 2024. It is the inaugural edition of the city-level beauty pageant that selects Tacloban’s Miss Universe Philippines and The Miss Philippines candidates.
Miss Universe Philippines selects the Philippines’ Miss Universe candidate while The Miss Philippines selects the country’s Miss Supranational, Miss Charm and Miss Asia Pacific International candidates. Currently, the country has four Miss Universe crowns, which were won by Gloria Diaz in 1969, Margie Moran in 1973, Pia Wurtzbach in 2015 and Catriona Gray in 2018, and one Miss Supranational crown, which was won by Mutya Datul in 2013.
Representing the county, Michelle Dee finished in the Top 10 at Miss Universe 2023 and Pauline Amelinckx was Miss Supranational 2023 first runner-up. They ranked first and second, respectively, at Miss Universe Philippines 2023 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay, Metro Manila, Philippines on May 13, 2023.
