A total of 17 people from three states of the United States namely Florida, Georgia and Washington were arrested in Bryan County, Georgia as a result of a sex trafficking sting called Operation Not for Sale. They are accused of buying and selling sex, according to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.
The Human Exploitation and Trafficking Unit of the GBI conducted the operation in cooperation with the Motor Carrier Compliance Division of the Georgia Department of Public Safety, the Bryan County Sheriff’s Office and police department of Richmond Hill, Bryan County. The goal was to draw in sex buyers to reduce demand and draw in sex workers to offer services.
During the operation, 10 victims of sex trafficking were rescued. The Criminal Justice Coordinating Council assisted in providing resources to them.
Three of the 17 arrestees were arrested for pimping. Here are their names:
- Davron Jamaal Hinton, 37, Jacksonville, Florida
- Karolay Karlay Rosalin Arraez Romero, 23
- Oswaldo Rodriguez Rameriz, 33, Savannah, Georgia
The other 14 people were arrested for pandering. Here are their names:
- Alberto Jay Vadi, 42, Savannah, Georgia
- Antonio Babbs, 45, Hinesville, Georgia
- Chiragkumar Patel, 36, Savannah, Georgia
- David Herrera Truijillo, 37, Eden, Georgia
- George Foster Sharpe, 38, Savannah, Georgia
- James Rush, 49, Richmond, Georgia
- Jason Manuel Herrera, 39, Savannah, Georgia
- Juan Mora Flores, 48, Washington, USA
- Mario Romero, 33, Claxton, Georgia
- Miles Diede, 29, Savannah, Georgia
- Rakshit Ravi Ramteke, 21, Savannah, Georgia
- Samuel De’Antayke Sawyer, 24, Richmond, Georgia
- Seyth Allan Cambron, 32, Savannah, Georgia
- Steven Ray Snelson, 45, Hinesville, Georgia
Cambron had an outstanding warrant and a drug charge. Herrera also had a drug charge and Vadi was accused of driving under the influence.
