Miss Universe Albay 2024 will be crowned at the Albay Theater at the Proxy by The Oriental Albay in Legazpi City, Albay, Philippines on February 4, 2024. It is the inaugural edition of the provincial beauty pageant that selects Albay’s Miss Universe Philippines and The Miss Philippines candidates.
Miss Universe Philippines selects the Philippines’ Miss Universe candidate while The Miss Philippines selects the country’s Miss Supranational, Miss Charm and Miss Asia Pacific International candidates. Currently, the country has four Miss Universe crowns, which were won by Gloria Diaz in 1969, Margie Moran in 1973, Pia Wurtzbach in 2015 and Catriona Gray in 2018, and one Miss Supranational crown, which was won by Mutya Datul in 2013.
Gray represented Albay when she became the second to the last Miss Universe Philippines from Binibining Pilipinas. Her mother Normita Ragas Magnayon is from Oas, Albay.
A total of nine women are competing for the Miss Universe Siargao Island 2024 and The Miss Philippines-Siargao Island 2024 crowns. Here are the candidates:
