Who is Jarrod DeFerrari?
Jarrod DeFerrari is an American militant Antifa activist born biologically male. As a transwoman, she goes by Sofie Thema.
A resident of Sunrise, Broward County, Florida, United States, DeFerrari previously lived in Fort Lauderdale, Broward County. Her former girlfriend Leslie Johnson is also a transwoman and a militant Antifa activist.

- From 2017 to 2019, she attended Broward College in Fort Lauderdale where she earned her associate’s degree in computer science.

- On November 4, 2020, she, Johnson and other masked militants allegedly destroyed property worth more than $5,000 at Riverside Tobacco, more than $1,000 at St. André Bessette Catholic Church and more than $1,000 at Alco Properties in Portland, Oregon, USA. When she and her fellow militants were arrested in a parking lot garage in Portland that day, a deputy found a hammer, a gas mask, spray paint and an illegal mortar explosive in her backpack. - On May 29, 2021, she allegedly carried a shotgun, a loaded handgun, restricted knives, shells and metal knuckles onto a TriMet bus.
- On June 3, 2021, she was arrested and released to the custody of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office in Hillsboro, Washington County, Oregon.
- On June 8, 2021, she was found squatting in a vacant residence.
- On June 28, 2021, she was arrested for first-degree unlawful use of a weapon and menacing while she was already in custody at the Washington County Jail in Hillsboro related to previous charges of first-degree burglary, possession of burglary tools, interfering with a peace officer, contempt of court and second-degree criminal mischief.
- On December 21, 2021, she pleaded guilty to first-degree robbery with a firearm, unlawful use of a weapon with a firearm and attempted first-degree burglary and was sentenced to 90 months in prison.
