Joseph Digregorio, 23, of Bay Shore, New York, United States and Matthew Henshaw, 20, of Fort Myer, Virginia, USA are soldiers with the 3rd Infantry Regiment, a regiment of the U.S. Army. They are specialists in the 1st Battalion in Fort Myer.
Between September 2023 and January 2024, Digregorio and Henshaw allegedly stole LGBTQ+ Pride flags at least three times from a residence just outside the gates of Fort Myer. The three incidents were captured on the Ring security camera of the house.
Michelle Logan and her girlfriend live at the house. Five flags were taken, according to Logan.
On February 2, 2024, Digregorio and Henshaw were arrested. Digregorio allegedly stole a flag on January 21, 2024 and Henshaw allegedly stole flags on September 16, 2023, on September 30, 2023 and on January 27, 2024.
Digregorio was charged with one count of petit larceny. He was released on a summons.
Henshaw was charged with three counts of unlawful entry – bias motivated and counts of petit larceny. He was released on a secured bond.
