Regina Mai Allen, 27, of Benton, Saline County, Arkansas, United States is currently in jail. She is being held there pending a bond hearing.

On June 20, 2023, Allen and Andrew Wayne Gilbert, 25, of Benton obtained their marriage license in Saline County. On February 8, 2024, special agents from the office of Tim Griffin, 55, executed a search warrant at her residence in Benton.

The agents were assisted by the Benton Police Department. They arrested Allen after finding evidence that she committed crimes involving child sexual abuse materials.

Griffin has been serving as the 57th Arkansas attorney general since January 10, 2023. After Allen’s arrest, he stated, “My office will continue its fight against those who prey on Arkansas’s children.”

Allen was booked into the Saline County Detention Center in Benton. She was charged with 20 counts of distributing, possessing or viewing child sexual abuse materials.

On February 5, 2024, an ordinance establishing a daily inmate rate for the Saline County Detention Center was recommended by the Saline County Public Works and Safety Committee. On February 19, 2024, the Quorum Court will decide whether or not to approve the recommendation.
