Who is Patricia Tapia?

Patricia Bianca “Ica” Narvaez Tapia is a Filipino-American model and beauty queen from Hawaii, United States and Batangas, Philippines. She was born in Makati City, Metro Manila, Philippines to Robert Tapia and Beth Narvaez Tapia.

Robert and Beth are based in Oakley, California, USA where Ica grew up. Ica has two sisters.

• On November 21, 2021, she competed against 27 other candidates at Miss Philippines USA 2021 at the City National Grove of Anaheim in Anaheim, California. She ranked second and was crowned Miss Philippines USA Tourism 2021.

2022

• From February 2022 to August 2022, she was a clinical recruiter at MDA Premier Staffing LLC in Sacramento, California.
• From July 2022 to September 2022, she was a healthcare legal intern at The Physicians Advocate LLC in Walnut Creek, California.

2023

• In January 2023, she joined Oracle in Redwood City, California as a continuous improvement nursing consultant.
• On August 5, 2023, she competed against 35 other Miss Filipina International 2023 candidates at the International Ballroom of The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California. She ranked fourth and was named the second runner-up.
• On February 11, 2024, she was officially appointed Miss Universe Philippines-Hawaii 2024.
• On May 22, 2024, she represented Hawaii’s Filipino community at Miss Universe Philippines 2024 and competed against 52 other candidates at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, Metro Manila. She finished in the Top 20.
• On July 19, 2024, she represented Batangas at Miss World Philippines 2024 and competed against 32 other candidates at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. She finished in the Top 10 and was appointed Miss Tourism Philippines 2024.
