Dominic Michael Miller, 18, of Kansas City, Missouri, United States is one of the two adults charged with murder over the mass shooting at the Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl parade on February 14, 2024.
That day, Miller allegedly fatally shot Tejano disc jockey Elizabeth “Lisa” Lopez-Galvan of Kansas City, Missouri, United States. She was 43.
Lopez-Galvan was a Kansas City native. As DJ Lisa G, she hosted the “Taste of Tejano” music night on KKFI radio.
Kansas City is home to the National Football Association team Kansas City Chiefs. On February 11, 2024, the team became the Super Bowl LVIII champion at the Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada, USA.
On February 14, 2024, a victory parade was held at Union Station in Kansas City for the Super Bowl LVIII victory of the Kansas City Chiefs. Thousands of fans attended including Miller, Lopez-Galvan, Miller and Lyndell Mays, 22, of Raytown, Missouri.
Mays and Miller, who did not know each other, allegedly fired their weapons after an argument during the parade.
A total of 11 adults and 12 children were wounded while Lopez-Galvan was fatally shot. The bullet that killed her was from the gun Miller fired.
Both Mays and Miller are being held on $1 million bond. They were each charged with unlawful use of a weapon, second-degree murder and two counts of armed criminal action.
Miller was treated at Truman Medical Center
