Don Steven McDougal is an American man from Livingston, Polk County, Texas, United States. He has ties to the Aryan Brotherhood and was friends with Audrii Cunningham‘s father.
Cunningham lived in Livingston with her father and her grandparents. Behind their residence is a camper where McDougal lived.
McDougal was 42 and Cunningham was 11 when she was reported missing on February 15, 2024. He was the last person seen with her and is accused of killing her.

- In 2019, he was arrested and later sentenced to nine months for assault causing bodily injury.

- In August 2023, he allegedly stabbed a man in the back. In September 2023, he was arrested in Conroe, Montgomery County, Texas and charged with resisting arrest search or transportation and on December 19, 2023, he appeared in court and pleaded guilty to the charge.
- On February 16, 2024, he was arrested for aggravated assault, which he committed in August 2023. On February 21, 2024, he was denied bond and charged with capital murder of a person younger than 15 in relation to Cunningham’s death.
