Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach Jauncey is a Filipino actor, model and beauty queen of German descent. She is married to Jeremy Jauncey.

As an actor, Pia initially used Pia Romero as her screen name. She is 5’8″ tall.

BIOGRAPHY

Born in Stuttgart, Germany to Uwe Wurtzbach and Cheryl Alonzo, Pia is 2 years older than her sister Sarah Wurtzbach. Pia speaks Cebuano, Filipino, English and basic German.

Uwe is German while Alonzo is Filipino. They got married on November 11, 1983.

In 2000, Uwe and Alonzo separated. Afterwards, she married Nigel Tyndall while Uwe had a new partner named Robie Asingua, who is also Filipino. In 2001, Asingua gave birth to Alexander Asingua Wurtzbach. 

When Pia was young, she and her family lived in Iligan, Philippines then moved to Cagayan de Oro, Philippines. She attended Kong Hua School and Corpus Christi School, which are both in Cagayan de Oro.

Pia completed her secondary education at ABS-CBN Distance Learning Center in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines. She later studied culinary arts at the Center for Asian Culinary Studies in San Juan, Metro Manila.
