Angel Matias Castellanos-Orellana, 19, is from Honduras. He entered the United States illegally.
In the U.S., Castellanos-Orellana used several aliases including Elven Locket. He is accused of raping a girl, 14, at knifepoint.
On February 20, 2024, the police department of Kenner, Jefferson Parish, Louisiana, USA started investigating the crime. Castellanos-Orellana was not immediately identified as the suspect.
At around 3:15 a.m. on February 25, 2024, Castellanos-Orellana allegedly stabbed a man in Kenner in the face and in the back. The victim, who was not identified, was hospitalized and is currently in stable condition.
Kenner Police Department officers arrested Castellanos-Orellana, who was found at the scene covered in blood. The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement issued a detainer for the Honduran teen, who was charged with first-degree rape, armed robbery, aggravated assault and aggravated battery.
