Rebekah A. Byler of Spartansburg, Crawford County, Pennsylvania, United States has died. She was 23.

Byler, an Amish woman, and her husband Andy Byler have two children together. At around 10:00 a.m. on February 26, 2024, a red jeep was seen in the driveway of their residence on Fish Flats Road in Spartansburg, according to family members.

At 12: 36 p.m., a woman called 911 to report that she and Andy arrived at the residence and found Rebekah unresponsive in the living room. Rebekah appeared to have suffered cutting wounds to her head and neck.

At the time, Rebekah’s two children were inside the residence and were unharmed. At 1:45 p.m., she was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Pennsylvania State Police is investigating Rebekah’s death as a homicide. She was 6 months pregnant when she was found dead.

On the afternoon of February 27, 2024, an autopsy was performed on Rebekah in Erie County, Pennsylvania. The autopsy provided evidence that she was killed.

The cause and manner of Rebekah’s death have yet to be officially released. Investigators have yet to identify a suspect.
