VanderBerg is a Canadian model and beauty queen born in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada. She is an alumna of the University of Lethbridge in Lethbridge.

• On August 10, 2018, she represented Alberta at Miss Earth Canada 2018 at La Plaza Ballroom in Montreal and won the title.
• On November 7, 2018, she took to Instagram to explain why she ended her Miss Earth 2018 participation as Canada’s representative before the coronation ceremony on November 3, 2018 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay, Metro Manila, Philippines. According to her, the pageant’s sponsors harassed her and asked her for sexual favors.
• On August 30, 2019, she crowned her successor Miss Earth Canada 2019 Mattea Henderson at the St. Vladimir Ukrainian Cultural Centre in Calgary.
