A recent undercover operation of the police department of Mobile, Mobile County, Alabama, United States targeted alleged prostitution. It was conducted by the department’s tactical intelligence unit and narcotics and vice unit.
On March 7, 2024, one man and seven women were arrested as part of the operation was called Operation Spring Fling. Here is the list:
- Amber Lyn Shields, 24, was charged with soliciting for prostitution, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, no child restraint and driving while suspended.
- Ariel Denise Clark, 30, was charged with soliciting for prostitution, possession of controlled substance, certain persons forbidden to possess a pistol, resisting arrest and youthful offender.
- Bianca Smith Calhoun, 32, was charged with soliciting for prostitution.
- Deana Marie Clark, 25, was charged with soliciting for prostitution.
- Jason Jamar Collins, 40, was charged with first-degree promoting prostitution.
- Kaylee Nicole Tolin, 25, was charged with soliciting for prostitution and two counts of child in need of services (CHINS) truancy.
- Lacynthia Marie Rosetter Robinson, 33, was charged with third-degree promoting prostitution and possession of drug paraphernalia.
- Sara Lorraine Ervin, 40, was charged with soliciting for prostitution.
Founded in 1702, Mobile was incorporated as a town on January 20, 1814 and as a city on December 17, 1819. It is the county seat of Mobile City and the only saltwater port of Alabama.
Born in Mobile, Sandy Stimpson, 71, is the incumbent and 108th mayor of the city. He assumed office on November 4, 2013.
