Lemuel Sosa Hernandez, 40, of Katy, Texas, United States had a MocoSpace profile. Headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts, USA, the mobile social network was founded on October 20, 2005.
On December 1, 2023, a human exploitation officer created a MocoSpace profile and posed as a girl aged 14. The officer accepted a friend request from Hernandez and they started messaging.
In Hernandez’s first messages, he asked sexual questions to who he thought as a 14-year-old girl. The officer posing as an underage girl replied, “I’m 14 so I never had a bf or anything yet.”
“Ok ok sorry,” Hernandez replied. Afterwards, he continued to send vulgar messages and four explicit photos of himself then asked for explicit photos in return.
In February 2024, a warrant was issued for Hernandez’s arrest. On March 19, 2024, he was arrested and booked into the Bexar County Jail in San Antonio, Texas.
Bond for Hernandez was set at $50,000. He was charged with online solicitation of a minor-arouse or gratify, which is a third-degree felony.
