Alyssa Todd, 23, of Buckeye, Maricopa County, Arizona, United States is a former teacher. While married, she allegedly had sex with a teen boy.
Todd worked as a teacher at the Odyssey Institute for Advanced and International Studies High School (OIAIS) in Buckeye. She was also an athletic coach at the school.
Recently, Todd’s husband found handwritten notes that were sexual in nature in a bedroom dresser in their residence in Buckeye. He found more messages on her laptop that suggested a sexual relationship was taking place between her and a male OIAIS student, 15.
On March 16, 2024, Todd’s husband called police. Officers found evidence that the inappropriate contact happened on and off campus for almost two months.
On March 22, 2024, Todd was arrested at her residence in Buckeye. She was charged with luring a minor for sexual exploitation, sexual exploitation of a minor and sexual conduct with a minor.
Bond for Todd was set at $75,000. She was booked into a Maricopa County jail.
