Erik Lennart Visser represented the Philippines at Mister Universe Tourism 2023 and competed against seven other candidates at the Balu Nusa Dua Theatre in Bali, Indonesia on March 19, 2023. He won the title.

On March 24, 2024, Visser went back to the Balu Nusa Dua Theatre where he crowned his successor Chien-Yu Chen. The latter is the first Mister Universe Tourism from Taiwan.

The Mister Universe Tourism trademark is owned by Manix Genabe, the chief executive officer of the BorGen Entertainment Ventures Company. October 15, 2017, Richard Keng Carter represented Thailand in the inaugural edition of the international beauty pageant, competed against 21 other candidates at the Palacio de Maynila in Manila, Metro Manila, Philippines and won.

On May 29, 2018, Benigno “Ion” Dungo Perez represented the Philippines at Mister Universe Tourism 2018, competed against 19 other candidates at Tanghalang Pasigueño in Pasig City, Metro Manila and won. He later resigned so the first runner-up Brata Manggala Putra Kartasasmita of Indonesia took over and was crowned on August 25, 2018.

On November 25, 2019, Surasak Mueangkeaw represented Thailand at Mister Universe Tourism 2019, competed against nine other candidates at the Carlos P. Romulo Theater of RCPC Plaza in Makati City, Metro Manila and won. He reigned until 2023.
