The police department of Dothan, Houston County, Alabama, United States conducted an undercover operation from March 21-22, 2024 to investigate human trafficking in the city. In cooperation with Covenant Rescue Group, investigators had online chats with individuals looking for sexual activities with underage juveniles.

A total of 11 men agreed to meet at a location in Dothan. They were arrested when they arrived at the location.

The U.S. Marshals Service, Homeland Security Investigations and the district attorney’s offices in Houston County and Henry County, Alabama also participated in the operation. Four of the 11 arrestees are Dothan residents namely Carey Jamal Wright, 33, Jeremy Alexander Critten, 32, Chatwarong Srithanat, 29, and Judah Jabez Davis, 19.

Wright was charged with first-degree human trafficking, second-degree possession of marijuana, electronic solicitation of a child, unlawful possession of a controlled substance and traveling to meet a child for an unlawful sex act. Critten, Srithanat and Davis were each charged with first-degree human trafficking, traveling to meet a child for an unlawful sex act and electronic solicitation of a child.

Wright previously lived in Rehobeth, Houston County. He and Wisda Yolondria Robinson, 37, got married in Dothan on February 12, 2014.

Critten is a Dothan High School alumnus. On April 2, 2015, he was arrested in Dothan for failure to appear for first-degree burglary and third-degree domestic violence.

Davis is Mary Davis‘s son. On May 20, 2023, he graduated from Dothan High School.

Srithanat is originally from Thailand. He attended Khon Kaen University in Khon Kaen, Thailand and he previously lived in Eufaula, Barbour County, Alabama.
