Both Matthew Ryan Hall, 26, and Richard Allan Brieger, 25, are residents of Reno, Washoe County, Nevada, United States. They are two of the six men arrested during an undercover operation targeting human trafficking in Douglas County, Nevada.

The operation was conducted by members of the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office Investigations Division in coordination with the Douglas County Street Enforcement Team and human exploitation and trafficking team of the Reno Police Department. On March 29, 2024, Brieger and four other suspects were arrested.

Bail for Brieger was set at $60,000. He was charged with attempted statutory sexual seduction, attempted child abuse and attempted luring a child under the age of 16.

On March 30, 2024, Hall was arrested in Minden, Douglas County. He was charged with attempted child abuse, attempted statutory sexual seduction, attempted lewdness with a child under the age of 14, attempted luring a child under the age of 16 and attempt to use of a minor for production of pornography under the age of 14.

Brieger was scheduled to appear in Tahoe Township Justice Court in Stateline, Douglas County. On April 1, 2024, Hall appeared in East Fork Justice Court in Minden.

Hall was ordered to have no contact with unrelated minors and to return to court on April 3, 2024. His bail was set at $260,015.

Minden was founded in 1906. It is around 427 miles away from Las Vegas, Clark County, Nevada.

Between October 13, 2023 and October 14, 2023, an undercover operation targeting online child sex predators in Las Vegas led to the arrest of 17 men. One of them is Tanner Lucas Castro, 26, an alumnus of the University of Nevada-Las Vegas in Las Vegas.
