The Miss Mississippi USA 2024 coronation ceremony will take place at Pearl River Resort in Choctaw, Neshoba County, Mississippi, United States on April 6, 2024. It is the 66th edition of the state-level beauty pageant that selects Mississippi’s candidate for Miss USA, which selects the Miss Universe candidate of the U.S.
Currently, Mississippi has 12 Miss USA placements including the first runner-up finish of Leah Laviano in 2008, the coronation of Asya Branch in 2020 and the Top 16 finish of Bailey Anderson in 2021. Branch finished in the Top 21 at Miss Universe 2020.
Representing Lauderdale Count, Sydney Russell was 27 when she was crowned Miss Mississippi USA 2023 at Pearl River Resort in Choctaw on April 1, 2023. The respective first, second, third and fourth runners-up were Maggie Ulmer as Miss Heart of Oxford, Maddi Lambert of Northwest Mississippi, Dana Wesley of West Point and Kaylee Brooke McCollum of Monroe County.
