“Chepe” Jose Mariscal, 31, of Cicero, Illinois, United States made his professional mixed martial arts debut on October 11, 2014. He is currently signed with the Ultimate Fighting Championship, which is based in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.

Mariscal was one of the “UFC Fight Night 240” winners. It marked his second victory in the UFC.

Featuring 12 mixed martial arts bouts, “UFC Fight Night 240” was held at the UFC Apex in Enterprise, Las Vegas Valley, Clark County, Nevada on April 6, 2024. In the 10th bout of the evening, Mariscal fought “The Last Pirate” Morgan Charriere, 28, of Poissy, France in the featherweight division.

Keith Peterson served as the referee of the featherweight contest. After three five-minute rounds, he raised the hand of Mariscal, who was declared the winner via split decision.

Beating Charriere improved Mariscal’s professional MMA record to 16 wins, 6 losses and 1 No Contest. On the other hand, Charriere now has 19 wins and 10 losses.

On June 24, 2023, Mariscal made his UFC debut at “UFC on ABC 5”. He defeated Trevor Peek via unanimous decision.

On September 9, 2023, Mariscal fought Jack Jenkins at “UFC 298”. The former won via technical knockout due to arm injury.
