Claire Ulmer was 18 years old when she represented Mississippi at Miss Teen USA 2023 at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada, USA on September 28, 2023. She competed against 50 other candidates including New Jersey’s UmaSofia Srivastava, who won the title.
Ulmer was unplaced. Runner-up to Srivastava was New York’s Stephanie Skinner and the respective second, third and fourth runners-up were Pennsylvania’s Maggie Ross, Texas’s Haylee Puckett and Ohio’s Carolina Sola.
