Roxana Garcia Caso, 25, of Tamiami, Miami-Dade County, Florida, United States worked as a nurse at the Westchester General Hospital in Miami, Miami-Dade County. She allegedly defrauded Truist Bank of $56,500 by engaging in a type of credit fraud called a bust-out.
Originally from Ranchuelo, Cuba, Caso graduated from G. Holmes Braddock Senior High School in Miami in 2017. She attended Florida National University in Hialeah, Miami-Dade County.
Caso is accused of not reporting earnings from 2021 to 2023. She allegedly got a credit card with a $6,500 credit limit on March 17, 2023, a $30,000 vehicle loan on April 5, 2023 and a $20,000 personal loan on April 20, 2023.
On August 4, 2023, Caso obtained her nursing license in Florida. On April 8, 2024, she was arrested at the Westchester General Hospital.
The nurse from Tamiami was booked into the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center in Miami. She was charged with organized fraud and two counts of grand theft.
In other news, just before 3:15 on April 9, 2024, a man walked into the Truist Bank on Nolensville Pike in Nashville, Tennessee, USA, held up the bank and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. He is still at large.
