Bryan Matos represented Puerto Rico at Mister Model International 2021 at the Grand Bávaro Princess Hotel in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic on October 9, 2021. He won the title.
Runner-up to Matos was Luis Gustavo Couto of Brazil. The respective second, third and fourth runners-up were Josias Mendez of Curacao, Armaan Hakim of India and Ping Reawat Chumrod of Thailand.
Mister Model International 2024 contestants
On May 11, 2024, Matos will crown his successor at the Cartagena Intercontinental Hotel in Cartagena, Colombia. It is the eighth edition of the international beauty pageant for male models.

Luis Trujillo Nuñez founded Mister Model International in 2013. The competition was won by Willian Rech of Brazil in 2013, Victor Zanatta of Fernando de Noronha in 2014, Melvin Roman of Puerto Rico in 2015, Narapat Sakunsong of Thailand in 2016, José-Manuel Alcalde of Chile in 2018 and Sergio Ayala of Spain in 2019.
Amid the new coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, Ayala was not able to crown his successor in 2020. He will host the Mister Model International 2024 coronation ceremony with Miss Universe Colombia 2020 Laura Olascuaga.
