Carlos Yadiel Baez Nieves, 25, of Orange County, Florida, United States is accused of fatally strangling Nichole Daniels, 44, and Fatia Flowers, 41. He allegedly dumped the women’s bodies at the intersection of Trevarthon Road and Harrell Road in Orlando, Orange County.
Neither Daniels nor Flowers was a Florida resident. They both traded sex for money, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.

Baez is originally from Puerto Rico, USA. In 2020, he moved to Florida.
Using a white Ford F-150 pickup truck, Baez picked up Flowers at a gas station in the 9300 block of East Colonial Drive in Orlando. He allegedly had sex with her before killing her.
On March 14, 2024, Flowers’ body was found. On April 16, 2024, Baez used his white Ford F-150 pickup truck to pick up Daniels at a 7-Eleven in the 1700 block of North Econlockhatchee Trail in Orlando.
After having sex with Daniels, Baez allegedly killed her. On April 17, 2024, her body was found near the location where Flowers’ body was found.
On April 26, 2024, Baez was arrested after being pulled over during a traffic stop for driving with a suspended license. At the time, he was trying to sell his truck.
When interviewed by detectives, Baez confessed to the murders of Daniels and Flowers. He was charged with two counts of first-degree murder and was booked into the Orange County Jail in Orlando where he is being held without bond.
