The Miss Republica Dominicana 2024 coronation ceremony will be held at Sambil Santo Domingo in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic on May 5, 2024. It is the 72nd edition of the national beauty pageant that selects the Dominican Republic’s Miss Universe, Miss International and Reina Hispanoamericana candidates.

Currently, the Dominican Republic has 12 Miss Universe placements including the coronation of Amelia Vega in 2003. The most recent one was in 2022 when Andreina Martinez was the second runner-up.
On September 3, 2023, Mariana Downing was crowned Miss Republica Dominicana 2023 at Salón de Eventos Sambil in Santo Domingo along with Miss International Dominican Republic 2023 Yamilex Hernández and Reina Hispanoamericana Dominican Republic 2023 Melissa Domínguez. The respective first and second runners-up were Eoanna Constanza and Chantal Sílliman.
