Texas Rangers arrest DPS trooper Christopher Prince

Christopher John Prince, 37, of Roscoe, Nolan County, Texas, United States has been arrested. He is a Texas Department of Public Safety trooper.

Who is Christopher Prince?

In 2017, Prince joined the DPS. He is serving the Sweetwater, Nolan County area.

In 2021, Prince and an unnamed individual allegedly committed sexual acts with an animal. The former allegedly continually offered sex to the latter both through text messages and in person.

In February 2024, a complaint was filed against Prince. On April 30, 2024, the Texas Rangers arrested him.

Prince was booked in the Nolan County Jail in Sweetwater and charged with bestiality. He has been released on bond.

While waiting for the completion of the investigation of the DPS’s office of inspector general, Prince will remain suspended with pay. Aside from Roscoe, he has lived in other parts of Texas including Grand Prairie and North Richland Hills.
