Bail for Burbank, California’s Kyle Lombardo set at $2 million

Who is Karyn Lombardo?

In 1990, Lombardo joined Joaquin Miller Elementary School in Oakland, Alameda County, California as a bilingual teacher. She latter transferred to Bret Harte Elementary School in Burbank.

For more than 30 years, Lombardo worked as a kindergarten teacher at Bret Harte Elementary School. She taught performing arts, chorus, intervention and several other subjects.

Lombardo was the wife of Vince Lombardo, 61. They got married in 1992.

Vince and Karyn have two children together including Kyle Lombardo, 25. Kyle lived in his parents’ house in Burbank.

Who is Kyle Lombardo?

Kyle has a mental condition. On April 13, 2024, he turned 25.

On the evening of May 7, 2024, Vince was in Lake Arrowhead, San Bernardino County, California. That evening, Karyn and Kyle was in their residence in Burbank.

At around 10:00 p.m., Kyle allegedly shot Karyn during an altercation inside their residence. She was pronounced dead at the scene and he was arrested in connection with her death.

Bond for Kyle was set at $2 million. He was charged with murder and if he is convicted as charged, his maximum sentence is life in state prison.

On May 9, 2024, Kyle made his first court appearance. On May 22, 2024, he will attend his arraignment hearing.
