North Dakota, United States currently has five Miss USA placements including the first runner-up finishes of Audra Mari in 2014 and Caitlyn Vogel in 2021. Representing the state in the national beauty pageant, Judy Ann Slayton was third runner-up in 1966, Elizabeth Ann Jaeger was fourth runner-up 1983 and Juliette Spier finished in the Top 6 in 1996.
On June 11, 2023, Monni Nyaribo of Badlands was crowned Miss North Dakota USA 2023 at the Watertown Events Center in Watertown, South Dakota, USA. The respective first, second, third and fourth runners-up were Morgan Layton of Minot, Haley Helmin of Fargo, Chelsey Faye Morlock of Dunn County and Lauren Cannon of Jamestown.
Miss North Dakota USA 2024
The Miss North Dakota USA 2024 coronation ceremony will be held at the Watertown Events Center on May 12, 2024. It is the 69th edition of the state-level beauty pageant that selects North Dakota’s candidate for Miss USA, which selects the Miss Universe candidate of the U.S.
