2020

  • In an interview with NBC News in March 2020, she talked about her participation in Chicago’s program that connects families with people who offer child care to the city’s most essential workforce amid the new coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
  • On October 28, 2020, she was dismissed from her position as a probationary appointed teacher at William P. Gray Elementary School.

2021

  • In February 2021, while employed as a special education teacher in Glenview, Cook County, she told ABC 7 Chicago that getting her COVID-19 vaccine in Austin, Chicago was like “Hunger Games”.

2022

  • On November 30, 2022, she wrote in a Facebook group called RAGBRAI, which is short for Register’s Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa, “Hi! From Chicago and new to RAGBRAI. I’ve been training on my Peloton and am looking to purchase a bike for July. I have absolutely no idea where to start! I don’t really have four plus grand to spend on a bike. Any recommendations??”

2023
