US Marshals arrest Cleveland, Ohio’s Leonai Johnson

Christie L. Bozeman of Cleveland, Ohio, United States has died. She was 28.

Bozeman has three children. She is Eddie Teacher and Naomi Bozeman‘s daughter.

Who is Leonai Johnson?

Leonai Johnson, 18, of Cleveland is accused of fatally shooting Christie. On May 3, 2024, the latter was found by Cleveland Division of Police officers with multiple gunshot wounds inside her apartment in Cleveland.

Emergency medical services tried to render aid to the victim. She later succumbed to her injuries at the MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland.

On May 11, 2024, funeral service was held at Sloan Funeral Home in Cleveland. A GoFundMe page was created by Christie’s family.

Whether or not Christie and Johnson knew each other is still unknown. A warrant was issued for Johnson’s arrest after she was identified as the suspect who shot Christie.

On May 15, 2024, the U.S. Marshals Service led the members of the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) who arrested Johnson in an apartment in Cleveland. She was charged with aggravated murder.
