Did Eddi Moreno Jr. shoot Joe Moreno?

On May 13, 2024, Joe and a woman had a fight, which left him locked out of his residence in Las Vegas. In the evening, Eddi and his wife returned to their residence and saw Joe pacing back and forth outside.

Joe was yelling at Eddi and Eddi’s wife as the couple pulled into the driveway, according to her. Eddi allegedly retrieved a gun in a backpack, got out of his car and confronted Joe, which led to an argument.

During the argument, Joe allegedly stood on a large boulder, pulled his penis and scrotum out and began thrusting towards Eddi and Eddi’s wife and making threats. Eddie allegedly told Joe not to come towards him and warned him that he would shoot.

The confrontation was captured by a doorbell camera. Eddi told Joe, “I don’t give a f–k.”

“I am going to murder you,” Eddi continued. “Come right here. Imma murder you blood.”

“Who you going to murder?” Joe asked. Eddi replied, “You.”

While Joe was reaching in his pants, he allegedly came towards Eddi. That was when the latter shot the former.

At around 7:07 p.m., Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department officers arrived at the scene. Joe was pronounced dead at the scene and Eddie was arrested.

On May 15, 2024, prosecutors filed a criminal complaint formally charging Eddi with murder in the death of Joe. On May 16, 2024, the suspect appeared in Las Vegas Justice Court before Judge Amy Chelini.

Bail for Eddi was set at $100,000 and he is prohibited from having firearms in his residence and having contact with his neighbors. On August 13, 2024, he will be back in court.
