On October 21, 2023, Hameed turned 26. At around 2:00 a.m. on May 13, 2024, he and Nathaniel Bradley, 21, of Warren were at the ParkPlace 24 Tavern, a bar on Parkman Road bar in Warren.
After being involved in a fight, Hameed allegedly shot Bradley. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
From Warren, Hameed allegedly fled to Columbus, Ohio. The two cities are around 184 miles apart.
On May 13, 2024, Hameed was arrested in Groveport, Franklin County, Ohio by the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) and the Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST) of the U.S. Marshals Service. Whether he and Bradley knew each other is unclear.
On May 14, 2024, Hameed was booked into the Franklin County Corrections Center in Columbus. He will be extradited to Warren.
