Brooke Bruk-Jackson competed against 11 other finalists at Miss Universe Zimbabwe 2023 at the Harare Hippodrome in Braeside, Harare on September 16, 2023. She won the title.
On May 18, 2024, Bruk-Jackson went back to the Harare Hippodrome where she crowned her successor Sakhile Dube. The latter will represent Zimbabwe at Miss Universe 2024.

Zimbabwe currently has one Miss Universe placement, which was the Top 10 finish of Corinne Crewe. The African country was represented in the international beauty pageant by Yvette D’Almeida-Chakras in 1994, Langa Sibanda-Lloyd in 1996, Lorraine Magwenzi in 1997, Rachel Stuart in 1998, Crewe in 2000 and Tsungai Muswerakuenda in 2001.
Muswerakeunda won the inaugural edition of Miss Universe Zimbabwe. Lisa Morgan won the second edition of the national beauty pageant in 2011 but she represented Zimbabwe in Miss International instead of Miss Universe.
