The last time the United States Virgin Islands was represented in Miss Universe was in 2019. The U.S. territory will be represented again in the international beauty pageant in 2024.
On July 24, 1971, Cherrie Creque represented the U.S. Virgin Islands at Miss Universe 1971, competed against 59 other candidates at the Miami Beach Auditorium in Miami Beach, Florida, USA and finished in the Top 12. It is the first and still the only placement of the territory in the international beauty pageant.
Miss Universe U.S. Virgin Islands 2024 contestants
Lulu Orange Tyson was the national director of Miss U.S. Virgin Islands in 2017 and 2019. She was replaced by Cynthia Jerry in 2018 and Jaielean Jagrup in 2023.
The 45th edition of the beauty pageant will be held at the Antilles Mark C. Marin Center in Charlotte Amalie, Saint Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands on August 18, 2024. The winner will represent the territory in the 73rd edition of Miss Universe.
There are six women competing for the Miss Universe U.S. Virgin Islands 2024 crown. Here are the candidates:

- Aminisha Bailey (Charlotte Amalie)
- Nia Leona Civil (Christiansted)
- Britanny Robinson (Crown Mountain)
- Stephany Andujar (Saint Joseph and Rosendal)
- Camille Marise Paul (Strawberry Hill)
On August 17, 2019, Andrea Piecuch represented Hassel Island at Miss Universe U.S. Virgin Islands 2019, competed against nine other candidates at the Divi Carina Bay Resort and Casino in Saint Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands and won the title. On December 8, 2019, she represented the territory at Miss Universe 2019, competed against 89 other candidates at the Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta, Georgia, USA and was unplaced.
On May 14, 2023, Madison Ramsingh competed against three other Miss U.S. Virgin Islands 2023 candidates at Sand Castle on the Beach Hotel in St. Croix and won the title. On December 22, 2023, she represented the U.S. Virgin Islands at Miss Earth 2023, competed against 84 other candidates at the Vạn Phúc City Water Music Square in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and was unplaced.
