Quentin M. Morgan, 22, is a former detention deputy at the Spalding County Jail in Griffin, Spalding County, Georgia, United States. He was recently fired and arrested.

Who is Quentin Morgan?

In November 2023, Morgan was hired to work at the Coweta County Jail in Newnan, Coweta County, Georgia. In March 2024, he was fired for failing to meet performance standards.

In April 2024, the Spalding County Sheriff’s Office hired Morgan as a detention deputy. While working at the Spalding County Jail, he allegedly entered an inmate’s room.

While in the room, Morgan allegedly showed the inmate a sexual video. The detention deputy allegedly came back later to the inmate’s room and forced him to have oral sex.

The inmate, who is Judy Freeman‘s son, notified staff about what Morgan did. Upon receiving the report, the Spalding County Sheriff’s Office immediately began its investigation.

During the investigation, the inmate was interviewed. Spalding County Sheriff’s Office deputies gathered evidence and reviewed video footage from the day of the alleged crime. 

On May 24, 2024, Morgan was fired. That day, he was arrested and booked into the Spalding County Jail.

Morgan is being held with no bond. He was charged with sodomy, sexual assault and violation of oath of office.
