Sophie Burzynski won Miss Alabama USA 2023 at the Jay and Susie Gogue Performing Arts Center of Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama, United States on January 28, 2023. She represented of the Auburn-Opelika Metropolitan Area of Alabama and competed against 37 other candidates including Noelia Voigt of Greystone, Diane Westhoven of Southern Plains, Margaret Anne McNeill of River Region and Randee Hinson-McCrary of Huntsville.
Runner-up to Burzynski was Voigt. The respective first, second, third and fourth runners-up were Westhoven, McNeill and Hinson-McCrary.
Miss Alabama USA 2024 predictions

From 2019 to 2023, Burzynski attended Auburn University where she earned bachelor’s degrees in nutrition and business administration. On February 1, 2020, she finished in the Top 16 at Miss Kentucky Teen USA 2020.
On May 22, 2021, Burzynski competed against 45 other Miss Kentucky USA 2021 candidates at The Center for Rural Development in Somerset, Kentucky, USA and was unplaced. On September 29, 2023, she represented Alabama at Miss USA 2023 and competed against 50 other candidates at Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada, USA and finished in the Top 20.
