Travon Marshall, 19, of Memphis, Shelby County, Tennessee, United States has been arrested. He was wanted for a murder in Frayser, Memphis.

Who is Travon Marshall?

Gregory Deshun Gardner turned 29 on November 6, 2023. He was killed allegedly by Marshall, who is also known as Fat Murder.

On May 22, 2024, Marshal and Gardner were having a smoke session at a residence on Willow Wood Avenue in Frayser with another man nicknamed Boss Jizzle. During the session, they three men had an argument.

At around 3:00 a.m., Gardner was shot allegedly by Marshall. The victim was dropped off at Regional One Hospital in Memphis where he later was pronounced dead.

After the shooting, Marshall allegedly fled in a stolen vehicle with two other men. In the process, they crashed into a police vehicle so they got out and ran.

That day, a warrant was issued for Marshall’s arrest. The two other men he was with were apprehended before he was found hiding in the bathroom of an abandoned house by the U.S. Marshals Service, the Memphis Police Department and the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office on June 6, 2024.

Bond for Marshall was set at $100,000. He was charged with first-degree murder, criminal attempted first-degree murder, aggravated assault and a firearm offense.
