Lluvia Camila Alzate represented Houston, Texas, United States at Miss Texas USA 2023 and competed against 91 other candidates at Hilton Post Oak Hotel in Houston on July 15, 2023. She won the title.

On June 22, 2024, Alzate went back to Hilton Post Oak Hotel and crowned Aarieanna Ware as the next Miss Texas USA. The latter will represent Texas at Miss USA 2024.

On September 29, 2023, Alzate represented Texas at Miss USA 2023 and competed against 50 other candidates at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada, USA. She was fourth runner-up to Noelia Voigt of Utah.
