Currently, the Netherlands has 13 Miss Universe placements including the coronation of Angela Visser in 1989. The country was represented in Miss Universe by the winner of Miss Holland from 1956 to 1990, Miss Universe Nederland from 1991 to 2005, Miss Universe Top Beauty Netherlands in 2008 and Miss Nederland from 2009 to 2023.
