Angeline Fajardo, 20, of Barangay San Agustin, Hagonoy, Bulacan, Philippines won the Reyna ng Hagonoy 2024 title at the municipal covered court of Hagonoy on July 13, 2024. At the same event, Mariano Sisperez, 23, of Barangay Palapat was crowned Hari ng Hagonoy 2024.
Reyna ng Hagonoy 2024
Hari at Reyna ng Hagonoy 2024 was a project of Hagonoy’s mayor Flordeliza Cruz Manlapaz and councilor Jey-R Manlapaz and the municipality’s tourism department. They collaborated with the municipality’s vice mayor Charo Sy-Alvarado, Jey-R’s fellow councilors, Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Federation ng Hagonoy and Sangguniang Bayan ng Hagonoy.
Ginoong Bulacan Turismo 1995 Edmund Santiago hosted the Hari at Reyna ng Hagonoy 2024 coronation ceremony. Cela Haus directed the event with Jonah Arellano as the head of the production team.
CV Stardom editor-in-chief CV Altatis served as one of the judges. He was joined by Miss Continentes Unidos 2022 Joanna Camelle Mercado, Miss Philippine Association of State Universities and Colleges (PASUC) 2024 first runner-up Arby Lyka M. Regala, actor, model and entrepreneur LM Torres and talent coordinator and entrepreneur Roxydiexsanne Angeles.
A total of 11 barangays were represented, namely Abulalas, Iba, Mercado, Palapat, San Agustin, San Jose, San Juan, San Nicolas, San Pablo, Santa Elena and Sta. Monica. At the end of the ceremony, Reyna ng Hagonoy 2023 Vhea Marie de Leon Reyes of Brgy. San Agustin passed her crown to Fajardo and Hari Ng Hagonoy 2023 Christian Sucilan of Brgy. San Juan passed his crown to Sisperez.
Seven women competed for the Reyna ng Hagonoy 2024 title. Fajardo’s fellow candidates were Pauleen Lacanlale of Brgy. Abulalas, Rhona Estilong of Brgy. Iba, Jan Ashlee Tolentino of Brgy. Mercado, Ahlea Kriziel Gregorio of Brgy. San Jose, Jasmine Rose R. de la Cruz of Brgy. San Nicolas, Marielle F. Lucas of Brgy. San Pablo and Janina Rein Bautista of Brgy. Sta. Monica.
Runner-up to Fajardo was Lucas while de la Cruz was second runner-up.
Aside from the Reyna ng Hagonoy 2024 title, Fajardo also won Best in Talent. Lucas won Best in Swimwear and Best in Filipiniana and Tolentino was Miss Photogenic.
Fajardo will represent Hagonoy at Reyna ng Singkaban 2024. She is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business administration at Bulacan State University in Malolos, Bulacan.
