Egypt currently has no Miss Universe placement. The African-Asian country was represented in the international beauty pageant by Miss Egypt from 1987 to 1990, in 1992, from 1994 to 2011 and in 2014 and Miss Egypt Universe from 2017 to 2019.

Since 2023, the representative has been Miss Universe Egypt under the directorship of Josh Yugen. On September 25, 2023, Mohra Tantawy was crowned Miss Universe Egypt 2023 in Cairo, Egypt with Aya Abdelrazik as the runner-up.

Miss Universe Egypt 2024

The Miss Universe Egypt 2024 coronation ceremony will be held in Cairo on October 5, 2024. It is the second edition of the national beauty pageant that selects Egypt’s Miss Universe candidate.
