Gabriela Clesca Vallejo studied civil law and international relations at the University of Ottawa in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. She was born in San Juan, Dominican Republic to a Haitian-Congolese father and a Dominican mother.
Vallejo represented Canada at Miss Supranational 2014 in Krynica-Zdroj, Poland and finished in the Top 20. She also finished in the Top 20 at Miss Universe Canada 2017 in Toronto, Ontario.
As the Miss Haiti 2019 winner, Vallejo represented Haiti at Miss Universe 2019 in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. She was unplaced.
On September 18, 2023, Vallejo turned 30. In 2024, she became the national director of Miss Universe Turks and Caicos Islands.
Miss Universe Turks and Caicos Islands 2024 contestants
Miss Universe 2023 Sheynnis Palacios will attend the Miss Universe Turks and Caicos Islands 2024 at the Gustarvus Lightbourne Sports Complex in Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands on July 27, 2024. It is the 30th edition of the beauty pageant that selects the British overseas territory’s Miss Universe candidate.
There are eight women competing for the Miss Universe Turks and Caicos Islands 2025 crown. Here are the candidates:

The Turks and Caicos Islands made its Miss Universe debut in 1980. The British overseas territory did not participate in the international beauty pageant in 1998, in 2002, in 2003, in 2009, in 2010, in 2012 and from 2015 to 2023.
On May 27, 1987, Carmelita Ariza represented the Turks and Caicos Islands at Miss Universe 1987, competed against 67 other candidates at World Trade Centre in HarbourFront, Singapore and finished in the Top 10. It is currently the only Miss Universe placement of the territory.
