Cuba currently has two Miss Universe placements which are the Top 15 finish of Maria Rodriguez Echevarria in 1956 and the third runner-up finish of Maria Rosa Gamio Fernandez in 1957. The country was represented in the competition by Miss Cuba in 1952, from 1954 to 1958, from 1959 to 1963 and from 1965 to 1967.
From 1961 to 1967, Cuba was referred to as Free Cuba in Miss Universe. In 2024, Julio Cesar Cruz became the national director of Miss Universe Cuba.
Miss Universe Cuba 2024
The Miss Universe Cuba 2024 coronation ceremony will be held in Miami, Florida, United States on September 26, 2024. It is the inaugural edition of the national beauty pageant that selects Cuba’s Miss Universe candidate.
