14 Miss Universe El Salvador 2024 candidates competing in San Salvador

Isabella Garcia Manzo Gutierrez was born in San Salvador, El Salvador to Andres Garcia Manzo and Natalia Gutiérrez. On September 4, 1994, Natalia represented El Salvador at Miss International 1994, competed against 49 other candidates at the Sun Arena in Ise, Mie, Japan and was unplaced.

On July 30, 2023, Isabella represented San Salvador at Miss El Salvador 2023 and competed against 13 other finalists at the Teatro Nacional de San Salvador in San Salvador. She won the title.

Runner-up to Isabella was Fátima Cuellar of Cuscatlán. The second runner-up was Mariana Quintanilla of La Libertad.

Miss Universe El Salvador 2024 contestants

On September 7, 2024, Isabella will crown her successor at Teatro Presidente in San Salvador. It is the inaugural edition of the national beauty pageant that selects the Miss Universe candidate of El Salvador.

El Salvador was represented in Miss Universe by Miss El Salvador from 1954 to 2003 and in 2023, Nuestra Belleza El Salvador from 2004 to 2016 and Reinado de El Salvador from 2017 to 2022. Magali Febles became the country’s Miss Universe national director in 2024.

Currently, El Salvador has four Miss Universe placements. When Maribel Arrieta Gálvez represented the country at Miss Universe 1955, she competed against 32 other candidates at the Long Beach Municipal Auditorium in Long Beach, California, United States and was runner-up to Hillevi Rombin of Sweden.

El Salvador was represented at Miss Universe 1975 by Carmen Elena Figueroa, at Miss Universe 1995 by Eleonora Beatrice Corrillo Alamanni and at Miss Universe 1996 by Carmen Millena Mayorga. Figueroa finished in the Top 12 and both Alamanni and Mayorga finished in the Top 10.
