Laxalt was born in Reno to Pietro Vichi “Pete” Domenici and Michelle Dominique Laxalt. Domenici was born in Albuquerque, Bernalillo County, New Mexico, USA to Italian parents Cherubuno Domenici and Alda Vicki Domenici while Michelle is Paul Dominique Laxalt and Jacklyn Ross Laxalt‘s daughter.
