Isabella Garcia Manzo Gutierrez was born in San Salvador, El Salvador to Andres Garcia Manzo and Natalia Gutiérrez. On September 4, 1994, Natalia represented El Salvador at Miss International 1994, competed against 49 other candidates at the Sun Arena in Ise, Mie, Japan and was unplaced.
On July 30, 2023, Isabella represented San Salvador at Miss El Salvador 2023, competed against 13 other finalists at the Teatro Nacional de San Salvador in San Salvador and won the title. On September 7, 2024, she crowned her successor Florence Gisselle Garcia of San Miguel, El Salvador at Teatro Presidente in San Salvador.

Currently, El Salvador has four Miss Universe placements. When Maribel Arrieta Gálvez represented the country at Miss Universe 1955, she competed against 32 other candidates at the Long Beach Municipal Auditorium in Long Beach, California, United States and was runner-up to Hillevi Rombin of Sweden.
El Salvador was represented at Miss Universe 1975 by Carmen Elena Figueroa, at Miss Universe 1995 by Eleonora Beatrice Corrillo Alamanni and at Miss Universe 1996 by Carmen Millena Mayorga. Figueroa finished in the Top 12 and both Alamanni and Mayorga finished in the Top 10.
