Jose Alcides Vasquez, 47, of Menifee, Riverside County, California, United States is a former resident of Ontario, San Bernardino County, California. Both Menifee and Ontario parts of the Inland Empire.

Vasquez has served as a pastor and volunteer in churches throughout the Inland Empire. Most recently, he served as the head pastor at Camino de Santidad in Menifee.

Why was Jose Alcides Vasquez arrested?

Vasquez is accused of sexually assaulting multiple juvenile females at his former residence in Ontario. One of the alleged victims is a former neighbor.

When Vasquez allegedly assaulted the neighbor, the latter was attending a high school in Ontario, San Bernardino County. In August 2021, a police school resource officer in Ontario was notified by an administrator at the school that the pastor had sexually assaulted the student.

In July 2024, another alleged victim came forward and accused Vasquez of sexual assault. Detectives obtained additional evidence that further incriminated the pastor.

On September 5, 2024, Vasquez was arrested without incident at his residence in Menifee by Ontario Police Department officers. He was booked at the West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga, San Bernardino County.
