Why was Devin Lamont Suggs arrested?

Aside from Baltimore, Suggs has lived in other parts of Maryland including Gwynn Oak. In March 2024, he turned 40.

Suggs is accused of holding his former girlfriend at gunpoint and stealing approximately $10,000 dollars from her purse. The name of the victim was not released.

In addition, Suggs was wanted on four outstanding  warrants. One was for parole violation and three were for assault.

After conducting interviews, U.S. Marshals (USMS) Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force (CARFTF) investigators developed intelligence that he was driving a Honda Accord. In coordination with the Baltimore Police Department, they located the vehicle parked in front of a residence on the 3000 block of Wylie Avenue in Baltimore.

The investigators found Suggs inside the residence where they safely arrested him. A .357 revolver, a 50-round drum magazine and ammunition for different caliber weapons were found inside the residence.

Neither the U.S. Marshals nor the Baltimore Police Department has released Suggs’ mugshot. He was transported to the Baltimore Police Department.
