Currently, Tanzania has one Miss Universe placement. Representing the African country, Flaviana Matata finished in the Top 10 in 2007.

Tanzania was represented in Miss Universe from 2007 to 2017 and in 2019. In 2024, Erasto Gideon Chipungahelo became the new Miss Universe Tanzania national director.

Miss Universe Tanzania 2024

The Miss Universe Tanzania 2024 coronation ceremony will be held on September 27, 2024. It is the 13th edition of the national beauty pageant that selects Tanzania’s Miss Universe candidate.
